Things to Explore
- Fallen Log: Match the magnetic leaves to their corresponding shapes on the log.
- Climbing Gym: Move up the steps and through the tunnel to find some furry forest friends.
- Bubble Tube: Watch the bubbles change color and explore reflections in the mirror.
Infant & Toddler Area
The Sensory Studio is a safe and calming room for our youngest visitors, from newborns to age 2, and children with special needs to explore gross and fine motor skills and sensory stimulation. Set off from the rest of the Front Gallery, this area is nature themed and offers a bench for nursing and close proximity to the restrooms, which are equipped with changing tables. This exhibit was created in collaboration with the University of Virginia Rodman Scholars Program and UVA Facilities Management
