Museum Teen Internship

Summer Service Program for High School Students

Love working with young children? Interested in STEAM education? Want to get involved in your local community? Although the Virginia Discovery Museum remains closed for general admission due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are looking for enthusiastic interns to join our fully vaccinated team from June through August as we start to transition back to in-person activities. Interns will assist with in-person Summer Camps and various programs, help monitor private Small Group Visits, and facilitate learning through exploration and play in the Museum’s exhibit galleries, all while gaining high school service credit, workforce readiness training, and valuable job experience.
