What is the JMRL Pass Program?
The JMRL Pass Program is a collaboration between the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library and the Virginia Discovery Museum. This local program allows JMRL cardholders to check out a Museum pass from any of the library’s branches with their library card. A limited number of passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis at each branch, and each pass grants free general admission to the Museum for up to 4 people during a 1-week loan period.* Passes may be used multiple times during the loan period, but they cannot be immediately renewed. Passes may be returned to any JMRL branch, but they may NOT be dropped off at the Museum.
*Note: A $0.25 per day overdue/late fee applies, and lost passes have a $5.00 replacement fee.
Parking: First Hour Free at Market Street Garage and Water Street Garage. Museum Visitors Receive Validation for a Second Hour of Free Parking at Both Garages.
