Winter 2023 – Web of Life Curriculum

Spark curiosity and investigative play for children in preschool and early elementary with after-school Discovery Workshops at the Virginia Discovery Museum! Workshops take place twice a month during the school year and provide active and engaging enrichment opportunities around a central theme that changes each season. This winter, all of VDM’s Discovery Workshops and Day-Off Camps from January through March will take us on a grand exploration of the ways life and living things amaze us as we explore Earth’s intricate, extraordinary “web of life”. The Web of Life Curriculum supports Virginia’s Standards of Learning for K-5 learners, and specific Workshop dates and descriptions can be found under Upcoming Workshops below.

This curriculum supports Virginia’s Science Standards of Learning for K-5 learners.
