Meet the Symphony Musician (Strings)

Feb. 1, 2020  |  10:30-11:30 a.m.  |   Ages 3+  |  Free Program*

Have you met a snail with an “itchy foot” who longs to see the world? Listen to principal bass Peter Spaar, from Charlottesville Symphony, as he creates the sound of a whale who carries the snail on far-away adventures using the tip of his tail during a musical reading of The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson, then try to make your own sounds on different string instruments in a hands-on instrument petting zoo.

*Free with Paid Museum Admission, Sponsored Admission, or Membership. No Registration Required, but Space is Limited on a First-Come, First-Served Basis.
