Need to ward off cabin fever? Drop in on specified Fridays in December and January for some fun ideas to fight the winter doldrums! Younger children may need a grownup’s assistance to participate.

  • Friday, Dec. 11 Create snowflakes and icicles to transform your home into a winter wonderland.
    Supplies: Paper, Scissors, Glue. Optional: Cotton Swabs, Glitter.
  • Friday, Dec. 18: Get cozy in a homemade blanket fort as we play winter bingo and listen to stories.
    Supplies: Blankets, Bingo Card (Print One: Create-Your-Own, Pre-Made - Card #1, Pre-Made - Card #2), Stickers or Crayon. Optional: Stuffed Animals, Pillows.
  • TBD: Let off some steam with active games and challenges! Try a “snowball” sock toss, complete a scavenger hunt, and play a silly copycat game.
    Supplies: Socks, Empty Box or Basket, Stuffed Animal or Pillow.
