Description

It’s Election Day! Today, as grownups from all over the United States exercise their right to vote and cast ballots for President, Senate, the House of Representatives, and more, polls are open at the Virginia Discovery Museum, too! We invite our youngest visitors and our community’s future voters to join us on Zoom as we discuss what it means to vote, learn why voting is important, and practice voting ourselves. Join us as we cast ballots for our favorite colors, seasons, subjects, and more. Have a favorite Museum exhibit? We want to know! Do you prefer playdough or slime? Let your voice be heard! Which holiday do you like best: Halloween or Thanksgiving? Make your vote count! If you’re unable to join us on the live Zoom call, download your ballot at the link below and mail it to us at 524 East Main Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902. See you at the polls!
