Special Program

All Ages, with Adult. Free. Limited to First 120 Visitors.*

Join the Virginia Discovery Museum, Community Idea Stations WVPT/WHTJ PBS, and Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary for this special Virginia Festival of the Book StoryFest event in the Museum’s Discover Outdoors exhibit! Enjoy live demonstrations with non-releasable wild animals as you meet some of the feathered, furry, and scaled friends who live right here in Virginia, and take home a free wildlife-themed book. *Program admission stickers will be available first-come, first-served starting at 9:30 a.m. Seating starts at 10:20 a.m. Visitors who wish to play in the Museum before or after the program are also asked to pay the daily admission fee.
