Taproom Donating All May Tips to Support Sponsored Admission Program

The Virginia Discovery Museum is excited to be named Draft Taproom’s Charity of the Month for May! All month long, Draft is graciously donating any tips it receives to our nonprofit Museum, and we invite you to join us both on Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall this Spring. All proceeds from this fundraiser will support VDM’s Sponsored Admission Program, which allows clients of 37 local social service agencies visit the Museum free of charge.
An independently owned taproom and casual restaurant, Draft highlights 60 taps focused on a large, diverse selection of craft beers and a small selection of hard ciders and wine. Customers pay for beers by the ounce through an innovative self-serve pouring system that offers the freedom to sample without committing to a full pour. Plus, with pub-inspired appetizers, salads, and sandwiches, as well as a “Half Pints” menu for the kids and non-alcoholic beverages in a variety of flavors like grape, orange, black cherry, and cream, Draft is great for the whole family. Be sure to try a root beer float … a perfect pairing for the warm weather as you walk across the mall to visit us at the Museum!
